Bar Crawl Golf.
The painted bar-crawl scorecard game. Live scorecards, AI route planning, crew chat, and Hall of Fame trophies - built with Next.js App Router on a Supabase PostgreSQL backend, playable in the browser or the native iOS app.
I handle commercial trucking and logging risk at Swamp Fox Agency just outside Charleston in Moncks Corner, SC. I focus on the hard to place accounts that others might pass over. These accounts require deep research and structured solutions. My time at the Lloyd's of London market taught me that risk is about understanding real world situations rather than just checking a spreadsheet. I focus on being transparent with producers and doing the thorough work that takes time.
The trucking and logging accounts that need more work to place. I dig into the safety data and the operations to understand each one, building on what I learned during my time at Lloyd's.
Outside work, I build two small products that solve real everyday problems. They are live on the App Store, maintained, and open to honest feedback.
I care about the long game with the agents I work with. Learn what they actually need, be straight with them, and put together deals that still make sense at renewal.
I underwrite commercial trucking and logging risk across the Southeast. These are accounts you can't judge from a spreadsheet alone, so I put in the time on the safety data and the operations to really understand each one.
During my training at Price Forbes on the Lloyd's of London floor, I saw how complex cargo and property risks are placed in the world's oldest specialty room. Today, I use that experience to underwrite durable risks at Swamp Fox Agency.
I build software that turns fiddly, annoying workflows into something clean and reliable. Native iOS apps in Swift, full-stack React sites, whatever the problem needs. I try to write code that's easy to come back to and quietly does its job.
Coming at it from a business and risk background makes me build a little differently. I care about getting the data right, keeping the screen uncluttered, and not overcomplicating things.
Thirty-nine games, handcrafted in vanilla JavaScript: Snake, Tetris, Wordle, 2048, Minesweeper and more. No engine, no frameworks.
Three areas I work in: specialty insurance, applied technology, and sales. The toolkit I bring to every account.
Building high performance utilities and scalable web apps. Mobile design, serverless backends, and AI workflows, the tools I use to build daily.
Specialty P&C underwriting, mostly trucking and logging. I spend my time in the loss data, the compliance side, and figuring out where an account really sits in the market before I put a number on it.
I have two apps on the App Store: My Daily Tool and Bar Crawl Golf. Both started as small frustrations, then became real products through Swift, SwiftUI, careful testing, and a lot of iteration.
BizDev and federal sales background. I've qualified leads, worked through complex terms, and built producer level client relationships. Still learning the agency growth side, but I enjoy the work.
Native iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI. Focus on clean architecture, local data caching, responsive layouts, and shipping optimized mobile utilities directly to the App Store.
I build focused websites and web companions with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Vercel. The goal is a clear interface, a reliable path through the product, and a site that feels finished on a phone as well as a large screen.
I keep the loop close: notice a problem, make the smallest useful version, put it in front of people, and improve what earns its place. That is the work behind both live apps.
Milestones that shaped my career: operations at Augusta National, a brand I built and sold, Lloyd's placement training, and a client consulting capstone.
Two-year returning operations staff at Augusta National. I learned how precision and discretion get executed at scale, and how small details matter when the stakes are high. It stuck with me.
Grew an Instagram brand from zero to 500,000+ followers by paying attention to what resonated and posting consistently, then sold it. I got to learn the whole arc: growing it, monetizing it, and knowing when to move on.
Moving commercial trucking and logging risk from intake to bind through Swamp Fox's E&S channels, with some Lloyd's syndicate access. Building submissions, reading FMCSA and CAB safety records, and working to price accounts the markets will actually write.
A semester long consulting engagement at USC's Darla Moore School of Business. I worked with a real client, scoped the problem, ran the market and financial analysis, and delivered recommendations to leadership. Good practice at turning ambiguity into something stakeholders can act on.
