The story so far
I started officiating lacrosse and basketball at sixteen, worked kitchens and guest services through school, spent springs with the operations team at Augusta National, did BDR work on a public sector intel team at Carahsoft, and spent two weeks inside the Lloyd’s of London market with Price Forbes. Now I underwrite commercial trucking and logging at Swamp Fox Agency in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
Every stop taught me something I still use. Read the situation fast. Decide cleanly. Own the outcome. Underwriting is a system of loss trends, compliance checks, and small details that decide whether an account belongs in the market. App building is the same discipline on a different surface: two apps on the App Store, one in TestFlight with real chapters, and thirty six browser games built for fun.
