The Masters · Augusta National.
Two years on tournament operations staff at Augusta National — where precision and discretion are executed at scale.
The work
Two seasons on the operations staff at Augusta National during tournament week. The job is everything around the golf: moving people, protecting the experience, and making a very large, very watched event feel effortless to everyone inside the gates.
The approach
Augusta runs on details — the kind nobody notices when they're right and everybody notices when they're wrong. I learned to treat small things as the whole job: where you stand, how you speak to a patron, how you handle the one unusual situation in a week of routine ones.
What it taught me
Discretion is a skill, not a personality trait. So is calm under pressure. When the stakes are high and the whole world is watching, the people who do their homework and stay steady are the ones the operation leans on. That standard followed me into underwriting and into every app I've shipped since.
